The Imperium

Space Hulk

A Space Hulk is a vast, drifting agglomeration of derelict starships, asteroids and wreckage, fused together over centuries by the tides of the Warp. These titanic hulks emerge and vanish from the immaterium unpredictably, wandering the void as tomb-worlds of the dead and treasure-troves of lost technology. Some span the size of a moon, their tangled corridors stretching for miles in cold, airless darkness.

A Space Hulk is both a prize and a peril. Buried within its labyrinthine interior may lie archeotech, ancient relics or the sacred remains of forgotten vessels, riches worth any risk to the Imperium. Yet these same passages teem with horrors: feral Ork infestations, Genestealer broods lying dormant in the dark, and warp-spawned entities drawn to the hulk's tainted heart.

Because a drifting hulk may collide with an inhabited world, the Imperium dispatches its finest to purge them. Terminators of the Space Marines, clad in Tactical Dreadnought Armour, clear these deathtraps corridor by corridor, a grim duty from which few emerge unscathed.
