Hive Fleet Leviathan

The largest hive fleet ever recorded, striking from beneath the galactic plane to sever the Imperium's southern reaches.

Hive Fleet Leviathan dwarfed every swarm that had come before, a bio-armada so vast it seemed the very intergalactic void had turned to hunger and given chase. It struck from beneath the galactic plane, an angle no defence had anticipated, threatening to split the Imperium in two and cut the astronomican's guiding light from a hundred struggling worlds.

The Tyranids of Leviathan revealed the terrible endgame of the Great Devourer, for this was no mere tendril but a main body of the fleet-organism itself. It advanced on a broad front thousands of light years wide, and no world in its path was spared. The Space Marines, the Astra Militarum, and every armed servant of the Emperor were thrown against it, and still it came, learning and adapting faster than any swarm before.

The defence of Baal and the near-destruction of the Blood Angels marked but one chapter in Leviathan's endless advance. Even as the galaxy tore itself apart in the wake of the Great Rift, the shadow in the warp deepened and the swarm pressed ever onward. Leviathan remains uncontained, a devouring tide that consumes without cease, and the wisest servants of the Imperium know that against such hunger, there can be no final victory, only endless, grinding survival.
