The Seven Words is a formidable stronghold raised in the untamed Realm of Beasts, a fortress carved into the living rock of Ghur's ever-hungry mountains. It was built as a bulwark against the endless predations of Chaos and the savage wilds, a place where the forces of Order might gather their strength and strike back at the darkness that gnaws at the edges of civilisation.

The fortress takes its name from an ancient oath, and its garrison holds to that vow with grim tenacity. Warriors of many stripes have mustered within its walls, and the fire-forged might of the Fyreslayers has been counted among its defenders, their duardin axes ringing against the beasts and Chaos warbands that assail the hold. It has served as a staging ground for campaigns launched deep into hostile territory.

Ghur is a realm that devours the weak, where even the ground hungers and the mountains themselves may stir. To hold a fortress here is an act of ceaseless defiance, demanding vigilance without respite. The Seven Words endures because its defenders refuse to yield, their oath a chain that binds them to the stone, and their courage the only wall that truly keeps the wilderness at bay.
