The Ironweld Arsenal

The grand alliance of human engineers and duardin smiths whose war-machines, cannon, and Steam Tanks arm the free peoples against the dark.

The Ironweld Arsenal was born of a pact between human engineers and duardin smiths, a rare and enduring alliance forged in the fires of shared necessity. Sundered from the sky-kin who became the Kharadron, these grounded duardin threw in their lot with the empires of men, and together they wed the artifice of the mountain to the ingenuity of the forge-city.

From the Ironweld's workshops come the great engines that anchor the armies of the Cities of Sigmar: thundering Cannon and Helstorm rockets, the ponderous Steam Tank, and the Gunmaster's rifles that can fell a monster at a thousand paces. Each machine is a jealously guarded secret, its schematics inked in cipher and defended with a zeal the priests of Sigmar might envy. An Ironweld engineer would sooner die than see his life's work fall into unworthy hands.

Though they share little of the sky-ports' wealth, the Arsenal keeps cordial dealings with the Kharadron Overlords, trading ore and oddments across the aether-lanes. In an age of monsters and gods, the Ironweld offers the free peoples a colder comfort — that faith and courage may yet be sharpened upon the edge of good iron and better powder.
