The Celestial Vindicators are one of the founding Stormhosts of the stormcast-eternals, renowned above all others for their burning thirst for vengeance. Where other hosts fight with cold discipline, the Vindicators wage war as an act of righteous retribution, hurling themselves upon the servants of Chaos with unrelenting fury.
Many of their number were reforged from souls who suffered grievously beneath the tyranny of the Dark Gods during the Age of Chaos, and that memory of injustice fuels their every strike. They favour swift, aggressive assaults, striking hard and fast to punish the wicked before mercy can stay their blades. Their emerald-and-white war-plate is a herald of reckoning across the realms.
So fierce is their zeal that other Stormhosts sometimes counsel restraint, fearing the Vindicators' wrath may outrun wisdom. Yet none doubt their valour, for wherever the enemies of Order have grown fat on cruelty, the Celestial Vindicators come to balance the scales in blood and lightning.
