Honourum is a Knight world, one of those feudal realms where ancient noble houses maintain the towering war-engines of the Imperial Knights as a sacred inheritance passed from parent to child across the long centuries. Its landscape is dominated by fortress-manors and the great Throne Mechanicum halls where the Knight suits stand in silent vigil, awaiting the call to war.

The society of Honourum is bound by rigid codes of honour, fealty and martial pride. Its nobles are raised from birth to bond with the mighty machines of their houses, to ride to battle in ceramite and adamantium, and to uphold the ancient oaths that bind their world to the Imperium and to the Adeptus Mechanicus that maintains the mysteries of their engines. To pilot a Knight is the highest honour a scion of Honourum can attain, and the greatest burden.

When the Imperium calls, the houses of Honourum answer, marching their Knights across the stars to war against the enemies of Mankind. Their armoured champions have shattered xenos hordes and traitor lines on a hundred worlds, their heraldry a terror to the foe. Yet feuds and rivalries fester between the houses even so, and the pride that makes them mighty can as easily bring them to ruin. Still Honourum endures, its noble engines ever ready for the next great war.
