The Conqueror was the Gloriana-class flagship of Angron, the Red Angel, and it reflected the fury of its master in every line of its brutal design. Where other Primarchs' flagships were cathedrals of martial glory, the Conqueror was a weapon meant for one thing: to close with the foe and to kill. It carried the World Eaters into the heart of the Warmaster's rebellion.
The ship's tactics mirrored the madness of its Legion. Rather than duel at range, the Conqueror would hurl itself directly at the enemy, ramming and boarding so that Angron's berserkers could spill onto hostile decks and drown them in blood. Its holds thronged with warriors who craved close slaughter above all else, and the vessel was built to give it to them.
Under Angron's command the Conqueror became infamous for the sheer scale of the butchery it enabled. Whole enemy fleets were not defeated but massacred, their crews cut down in the corridors of their own ships. The Butcher's Nails that drove Angron to fury seemed almost to echo in the ship's own aggressive soul.
Through the fires of the Heresy the Conqueror carried its wrathful cargo, an engine of red ruin bearing the maddest and most murderous of all the Emperor's sons ever deeper into damnation.
