The Savage Orcs are orc-kind stripped back to its oldest and rawest form, tribes that never took to iron plate or the crude civilisation of their cousins and worship Gork and Mork with a directness that borders on the divine. They go to war near-naked, their green hide daubed in white warpaint and ritual sigils their shamans swear will turn aside blade and bullet, and because a Savage Orc believes it utterly, it very often does. Bone through the nose, stone axe in fist, they work themselves into a howling frenzy before the charge and hit a battle-line like a rockslide with opinions. Where a Black Orc fights with grim discipline, a Savage Orc fights with joyous, foaming abandon, too lost in the ecstasy of violence to notice wounds that would drop a lesser greenskin. The tribes of the deep wilds and the southern jungles field them in their thousands, and the ground shakes when they come.
