Held aloft by great endrins filled with rare aetheric gas, these armoured leviathans are flying fortresses of riveted metal, bristling with cannon and crewed by disciplined companies of gun-toting sky-warriors. They are the pride of the sky-ports.
Each Ironclad is a marvel of duardin engineering and a small kingdom unto itself, its decks governed by the strict tenets of the Kharadron Code that dictates trade, war, and profit alike. The vessels range far from their mountain-anchored sky-ports, braving realm-storms and the predations of monsters to reach the floating deposits of aether-gold that are their lifeblood. Fortune and survival both depend upon the ship holding true.
In battle the Ironclads are terrible foes, their broadsides raking enemy formations while endrinriggers and arkanaut companies deploy from their holds to seize objectives and plunder. Even the beasts of the deep sky learn to fear their volleys.
