The Grundstok Gunhavoc is a dedicated engine of destruction fielded by the Kharadron Overlords, an aether-driven gunship built by the famed Grundstok yards for war and war alone. Where the frigate hauls troops and cargo, the Gunhavoc carries only guns, its compact hull weighed down with cannon, torpedo-tubes, and the massed volley-batteries that give it its fearsome name. It is a floating fusillade, and it earns its keep in muzzle-flash and thunder.
Crewed by the disciplined companies of the Grundstok Thunderers, the vessel is the closest thing the pragmatic sky-duardin field to a pure warship, unburdened by ledger-minded cargo runs. Its captains hunleash withering barrages that strip the sky of enemy flyers and pound ground formations to red ruin, the whole craft juddering with the recoil of its own overwhelming firepower.
Gunhavocs seldom sail alone. They range ahead of the great fleets as escorts and skirmishers, or descend in pack-formations to obliterate a target with concentrated volleys before the enemy can bring their own weapons to bear. Beasts of the deep sky and hostile sky-craft alike have learned to flee the silhouette of a Grundstok craft against the clouds. When negotiation and profit fail, the sky-ports send The Grundstok Gunhavoc, and it speaks in the only language its foes will then understand.
