Titan, greatest of the moons of Saturn, is a frozen world of methane seas and hydrocarbon haze that hides the most secret order of the Imperium. Here, wreathed in perpetual gloom at the edge of the Sol system, stands the fortress-monastery of the Grey Knights, the daemon-hunting Chapter whose very existence is unknown to the vast majority of humanity.

The moon is shrouded from prying eyes by potent wards and warp-craft, its citadel raised in ages past by masters of the arcane arts. Within its cold halls the silver-armoured battle-brothers are trained in body and mind and soul, honed into weapons proof against the horrors of the empyrean. No taint of Chaos may touch them, and the knowledge they guard is sealed behind oaths of absolute secrecy, enforced without mercy.

Beneath Titan's frozen surface lie deep vaults where captured daemons are bound and studied, and reliquaries holding weapons of terrible sanctity. From this hidden bastion the Grey Knights sally forth to answer incursions from beyond the veil, striking down the servants of the Ruinous Powers before returning to obscurity. In a galaxy drowning in darkness, Titan endures as a silent sentinel, its watch unbroken, its secrets kept even from the Emperor's own servants.
