The Lion Sword is the great blade of Lion El'Jonson, Primarch of the First Legion, a weapon that carved a path through the darkness of the Great Crusade and the treachery of the Horus Heresy alike. When the Lion at last stirred from his long slumber beneath Caliban's ruins and strode once more into the galaxy's night, it was this sword he raised against the enemies of Mankind.
A masterwork blade fit for a son of the Emperor, its edge parts armour and bone as easily as morning mist, and its wielder wields it with the peerless martial genius that made the Lion the deadliest swordsman among his brothers. To the Space Marines of the Dark Angels, the sight of that blade returned to their gene-sire's hand is a miracle they scarcely dared pray for.
Against the daemon hordes and the champions of Chaos Daemons that assail the reborn Imperium, the Lion Sword flashes with cold, remorseless purpose.
