Artificer power armour

The Armour of Fate

A masterwork suit of auramite and ceramite that sustains a resurrected Primarch, part life-support, part reliquary, part throne.

The Armour of Fate was crafted to house a returned demigod, a wonder of the Adeptus Mechanicus and the Adeptus Custodes wrought in the wake of the Ultramarines' Primarch waking from ten thousand years of near-death. When Roboute Guilliman rose from his stasis shrine on Macragge, the wound Fulgrim had dealt him still lingered at the edge of mortality. This armour holds that death at bay.

Gilded auramite and sanctified ceramite plate the suit, its systems threaded with the same technologies that sustain the Emperor upon the Golden Throne. Wards and integrated life-support keep the Lord Commander of the Imperium fighting where a lesser body would have failed. It is a fortress worn upon a Primarch's shoulders, and it marks Guilliman as living proof that the Imperium of the Space Marines can still produce miracles.

More than protection, the Armour of Fate is a statement of continuity. Every rivet and inscription binds Guilliman to the legacy of his father and his sons, the countless Chapters descended from his gene-seed. When he leads the Indomitus Crusade from the front, the armour blazes like a beacon of a half-forgotten age, a reminder that the primarchs walked once and might walk again. Fate, the name insists, is not yet finished with the Avenging Son.
