The Axe of Blind Fury is a daemon weapon dedicated wholly to the Blood God, its haft home to a murderous entity that knows only the desire to kill. To wield it is to surrender restraint entirely; the axe floods its bearer with a red haze of wrath that makes no distinction between enemy and ally, between the worthy foe and the brother standing at one's shoulder. Skulls are all the same to the thing that lives within the blade.
Such a weapon is beloved and feared among the World Eaters, the Legion whose souls were long ago mortgaged to slaughter. Even among warriors who court madness, the Axe of Blind Fury is a fell prize, for it grants unmatched killing power at the price of the wielder's every remaining shred of control. The most infamous bearer is Kharn the Betrayer, whose very epithet was earned when his indiscriminate butchery turned upon his own kind amid the ash of Skalathrax.
In Kharn's grip the axe has hewn through champions, tanks, and title alike, a whirlwind of gore that the enemies of the World Eaters flee rather than face. There is no cunning in it, no strategy, only an endless offering of blood raised to a hungering god. The Axe does not choose its victims; it simply takes them, and it does not stop until nothing living stands within reach of its ruinous edge.
