A Weirdboy is an Ork psyker, a rare and unstable greenskin who channels the raw psychic energy generated by the Orks around him. The collective belief and aggression of a mob of Orks produces a crackling field of latent power, and it is the cursed lot of the Weirdboy to become a lightning rod for this seething tide, whether he wills it or not.
The more Orks that gather nearby, the greater the energy that surges through a Weirdboy, until it must be unleashed lest it consume him. When it erupts, the results are as devastating to friend as to foe: bolts of green lightning, foes crushed by unseen force, or the Weirdboy's own head bursting in a spectacular discharge of power.
Because of this volatility, other Orks regard Weirdboyz with a mixture of awe and unease, keeping them at arm's length until battle demands their terrible gifts. Escorted by wary minders, a Weirdboy is a weapon both potent and perilous, as likely to obliterate his own kind as the enemy.
