The Triaros Conveyor was a heavily armoured transport vehicle used by the Mechanicum during the Great Crusade and the Horus Heresy to carry its cybernetic infantry into the heart of battle. Built on the same rugged chassis lineage as other Cult Mechanicum vehicles, it was designed to survive the fiercest crossfire and deliver its cargo intact.
Distinctively, the Triaros generated a shock-wave field or frictionless drive that let it grind forward through obstacles and enemy fire, protected further by heavy armour plating and defensive weapon mounts. It typically ferried squads of Thallax or Skitarii to forward positions, allowing the Mechanicum's soldiery to seize objectives under withering resistance.
As a product of the Mechanicum, the Triaros embodied the Priesthood's preference for durable, single-purpose machines. Fielded by Taghmata forces on both sides of the civil war, it was a familiar sight wherever the armies of Mars marched during the Heresy.
