Bred to war from birth, the Akhelians ride the fearsome predators of the deep into battle, hunting the surface world with the cold efficiency of apex ocean hunters.
Mounted upon eel-like Fangmora and the colossal Leviadon turtle-beasts, the Akhelian Guard form the shock cavalry of every Idoneth enclave. Their King and Queen, the Akhelian monarchs, command entire raiding fleets and are counted among the deadliest duellists in the realms. Where lesser Idoneth rely on stealth and the concealing mists of the Ethersea, the Akhelians embody open, brutal violence.
Despite their savagery, the Akhelian Guard are bound by a rigid martial code and a fierce sense of honour. They see themselves as the protectors of their enclave's soul-starved children, and each raid they lead is a grim necessity to sustain their people.
