Necron gauss weapon

Gauss Blaster

A Necron energy rifle whose molecular-stripping beam flays a victim atom by atom, reducing living targets to drifting dust.

The Gauss Blaster is a weapon of cold, alien horror, wielded by the deathless legions of the Necrons as they march from their aeons-long slumber. Rather than piercing or burning, its emerald beam flays the target molecule by molecule, stripping away armour, flesh, and bone in successive layers until nothing remains but a fading haze of atomised matter.

Borne by the elite Immortals, the gauss blaster is heavier and deadlier than the flayers carried by common warriors, its dismantling beam reaching further and biting harder into even the thickest plate. There is a dreadful patience to its function, an inexorable unmaking that treats living warrior and battle-tank as the same problem to be quietly erased from existence.

The technology behind it defies the understanding of the Imperium's finest artisans, a product of the Necrontyr's ancient mastery over matter and energy. No firing rite appeases it, no machine-spirit stirs within, only the silent, tireless logic of a science older than mankind's first fire. To face the gauss blaster is to watch oneself dissolve before the pain can even register, unmade by a foe that neither tires, fears, nor forgives.
