Hashut is the dark god worshipped by the Chaos Dwarfs, a cruel and tyrannical deity known as the Father of Darkness and the Great Bull. Depicted as a towering figure of black iron and living flame with the head of a monstrous bull, Hashut embodies fire, industry, domination, and the merciless exploitation of the weak, and his worship has twisted his followers into something no longer truly dwarf.
The Chaos Dwarfs turned to Hashut in the distant past, when their eastern kin were corrupted by the raw energies of Chaos and abandoned the Ancestor Gods of the western holds. In the volcanic Dark Lands they raised the black ziggurats of Zharr-Naggrund, temples to their bull-god where they sacrifice slaves to the furnaces and forge daemon-bound engines of war.
Hashut demands endless toil, conquest, and blood. His priests, the Daemonsmiths and sorcerer-lords, wield fire and dark magic to bind daemons into iron, though those who fail their god risk being slowly turned to living stone, a grim fate that mocks the pride of their once-noble race.
